Time wasters
As much as I’d like to think I am utilizing my time wisely trying to make work and life fit together, the fact is that I could probably be more efficient with my home time every now and then.
There are things that I am wont to do that are serious time wasters, yet, I persist in doing some, while I have given up others.
For example, I’ve inadvertently given up watching television except for sports events here and there. It really took a good deal of my time at one point in my life.
But, having 3 kids rarely allows me to watch what I want to watch, anyway. I also gave up late night TV when the kids lost the remote control to the TV in our bedroom.
Kind of pathetic, huh?
It’s OK, TV just hasn’t been the same since The West Wing ended.
We won’t discuss if I’ve replaced TV watching with Internet using.
It’s different. Shut up, it is too.
I also have a habit of doing “just one more thing” before I put the kids to bed, and, it ends up that we all get to bed too late no matter what my “one more thing” is.
While everyone needs a little time to relax or to get out of the routine, sometimes it’s easy to let time get away from you.
What have you given up or discovered was a time waster?

I’ve pretty much given up non-sports TV, too. Before you did, apparently, since I never saw “The West Wing.” I’ve also given up housecleaning.
