Right down to the occurring just after a long weekend, and, during one of the few times I can’t miss work.

Same thing here actually. Fortunately Mr. Belle was able to stay home with Beaux Monday before he left to go to a sales meeting. Beaux is well and now *I* have his strep throat. Yay! This morning was fun, getting both of them ready and to school so I could get to court by 10. With my fever. Gahd.
