Send reminders from voice to text with Jott.com
I’m always writing notes to myself, or, calling home to leave myself a message on the answering machine about a work matter, the kids’ schedules, or, to remind someone at home about something.
Jott is a way to create reminders, send text messages, e-mails and blog entries to yourself or other people, all with one phone call.
For example, you have something you want to remember, after setting up your account, you just call 1-866-Jott-123, and, speak whatever you need to remember.
Jott transcribes the message into text, and, you get the message back via e-mail or text message. You can also use it as a reminder for the future by saying a date and time for the event and it is delivered to you 15 minutes before your event.
You can even Jott something to a particular folder in your account, such as reminder of an expense while you’re on the go.
Also, Jott can be used for some blog entries and with Twitter.
I just saw it (don’t remember where, now) and thought it looked like something handy to manage your home thoughts, kids schedules and work ideas.
Bonus: Jott can now be used to add events to your Google Calendar.
I’m going to check it out, does anyone already use it?
