Via Home Biz Notes, I learned that today was National Leave the Office Earlier Day.
And, tomorrow is National Boss Wants to See You in His Office Day.
Coincidence? I don’t think so.
OK, you caught me, there’s no National Boss Wants to See You in His Office Day.
However, National Leave the Office Earlier Day is the creation of productivity expert Laura Stack where people pledge to leave the office on time, and she teaches us to work more efficiently within our scheduled hours in order to have free time for the things that matter and a better balance of work and life.
A good philosophy that could even be applied to tasks at home where efficiency and planning can make for more time with family.
I wish I had known this earlier today, I would have celebrated. I would have set the best example in the state about leaving work early.
