Getting back into the work week
Monday usually isn’t fun for anyone on the job after enjoying a weekend.
I’m all about making your weekend seem longer, but sometimes that makes Monday harder to face.
Maybe it’s just because I’m having a hard time getting back into things, but I thought I’d share some these tips from Web Worker Daily about How to Ease Your Way Back into the Workweek.
One thing that I would add is that it always helps me to leave my desk somewhat organized and leave myself notes about where to begin Monday morning.

Even though I teach, so I’m off for the summer, I do have 2 things I do to ease the frantic Monday mornings at our house. First, we make lunches, lay out clothes and shower on Sunday nights. The kids prefer to shower in the morning, so they do so every morning in the week, but Monday mornings, we try to take a slower pace, so showers are in the evening before. Also, like you, I try to leave my desk organized and tasks laid out ready to tackle on Monday morning.
2 little things, but they help immensely.

Couldn’t agree more about the clean desk.. it’s a great feeling on Monday morning.
