Career and Pets
We love animals at our house.
Though we are down to 2 dogs, and, one full-time cat (2 part-timers), we’ve had as many as 4 dogs, and, 6 cats.
However, I will be honest, and, say that there are times they add to the chaos. When you’ve just gotten home from work, and, can’t think of what to fix for dinner, there they are, more beings that need something from you, since, they too, insist on eating every day, just like those crazy kids.
They also get sick, and, need to go to the doctor. Like many people, I’ve had to miss work with an ill pet.
It’s worth it, they are part of the family, but, having a pet is something you have to consider carefully, especially when you work outside the home.
However, if you are really, really busy, it looks like you can get a “shared” pet through FlexPetz.
All the fun with the flexibility we crave.
Or, something like that.
