Back to work after the holiday
During the holidays, the hardest part about being married to a teacher, and, having young kids in school is that I’m the only one who has to get up and go anywhere during Christmas vacation.
I had to drag myself back to work this morning, but, I took my time getting ready, and, I stopped for a donut.
Someone’s got to live on the edge, might as well be me.
Are you back at work today? Speak up, let me know I’m not alone.

Nope, sorry! All 4 of us at home. At present the two adults are sitting on the couch with laptops and the 2 boys are…sitting on the couch with Gameboys. That sound you can hear is our collective brain cells melting and running out of our ears.

Hubby’s “working” from home today (though he did spend yesterday at the office). Today I have to go in for a little while. So why am I still sitting here in my pj’s at ten minutes past noon?

I’m at work. Hubby is at home with our little girl since daycare is closed. They’re enjoying the time alone together - or they were at noon. I’ve got my fingers crossed that it is a much less stressed day than Christmas and Boxing Day at the in-laws.

Not only back at work, but busy as well yesterday.
Though thanks to the fact that my daughter got Dance Dance Revolution and High School Musical Sing it as presents this year, I was only too happy to be back in the office.
