Ask the Children: What America’s Children Really Think About Working Parents
This book may have been around a while, but, it’s new to me.
Ask the Children: What America’s Children Really Think About Working Parents by Ellen Galinsky is a report that explores the feelings of children with working parents, and, is based on in-depth interviews with children and their parents.
I’ve not read this one, yet, but, it looks very interesting, and, from what I’ve read, the authors conclude that children are no less happy or healthy when both parents work, but, that children feel strongly about wanting parents to leave work stress at work.
Anybody read this one?
Interesting food for thought gleaned from the book summary. I may have to get this one.
